    •  Estonia defeated  Spain, 3-0 in matches played, in the final.  Germany took third place.
  • June 24 & 25: Group 2 Finals in Gold Coast
    •  Slovenia defeated  Japan, 3-0 in matches played, in the final.  Australia took third place.
  • July 4 - 8: Group 1 Finals in Curitiba
    •  France defeated  Brazil, 3-2 in matches played, in the final.  Canada took third place.

2017 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix

  • July 22 & 23: Group 3 Finals in Canberra
    •  Hungary defeated  Australia, 3-0 in matches played, in the final.  France took third place.

    • Vak?fbank Istanbul defeated Imoco Volley Conegliano, 3-0 in matches played, to win their third CEV Women's Champions League title.

    • Note: Both Vakibank and Imoco Volley have qualified to compete at the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship event.
  • November 2, 2016 - April 30, 2017: 2016-17 CEV Champions League
    • VC Zenit-Kazan defeated Sir Sicoma Colussi Perugia, 3-0 in matches played, to win their third consecutive and fifth overall CEV Champions League title.
    • Cucine Lube Civitanova took third place.
  • November 8, 2016 - April 16, 2017: 2016-17 CEV Challenge Cup
    • Fakel Novy Urengoy defeated Chaumont Volleyball 52, 6-2 in matches played, to win their first CEV Challenge Cup title.

  • March 5 - 13: 2017 Asian Youth Girls Volleyball Championship in Chongqing
    •  Japan defeated  China, 3-0 in matches played, to win their sixth consecutive and seventh overall Asian Youth Girls Volleyball Championship title.
    •  South Korea took third place.
    • Note: Along with the three teams mentioned above,  Thailand have qualified to compete at the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Girls' U18 World Championship.
  • March 28 - April 5: 2017 Asian Youth Boys Volleyball Championship in Naypyidaw
    •  Japan defeated  South Korea, 3-0 in matches played, to win their first Asian Youth Boys Volleyball Championship title.
